    Port 101

Published by fulvio under Port Relations

Here is an opportunity not to be missed for all Ballardites whether you own a pair of rubber boots or not.

Please take a peek at the attached invitation to a POS series of free educational events. Especially two of these are close to home and close to our hearts. September 18 is the tour/cruise of Ballard’s working water front departing from Fishermen’s Terminal. September 27 is a tour/cruise departing from Terminal 91 highlighting our commercial fishing and Seattle’s seafood industry.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn more about how this community works and how the Port of Seattle plays a part in facilitating transportation and local industry.

    See you aboard.

Her name is Anne Porter, and she, as many will recall, was the original Project Manager for the marina reconstruction, and is therefore intimately familiar with the overall history and design of the marina. Apart from that, they put a lot of research into all the options that were proposed on 4.3, and finally got back to us with the results of their efforts and their recommendations. Continue Reading »
