I’ve been reading this blog for abit, but very rarely post.
We used to own a Catalina ‘27 on “I” dock. But we just recently sold that and bought a 1983 ‘38 Hans Christian. We are now on “K” dock, slip 7 and plan on moving aboard in the next month or two. We will be changing the name of the boat from Pelagian to Palarran. We are taking the chance and will be taking all the required precautions.
Anyway, just wanted to reaquaint myself and say hello. We’ll see you around the Marina.
CB and Tawn…..
P.S. I’m CB

The second tuesday of the month is upon us, and so is another fun-packed port commission meeting:
Commission meetings held at 1:00 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of every month are convened at:
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in the Airport Office Building, International Auditorium, Mezzanine Level South, Main Terminal
Click here to find more information and the meeting agenda. No significant items relative to Shilshole, but the condemnation of the Kassan property promises a Jerry Springer moment…

While I was on vacation, Harry sent me the following update. Now that I got his first story post-Sydney, I figure it’s time to catch up on Rhiannon’s adventures. Thanks, Harry!
Happy New Year!
I’m still in beautiful Sydney Australia. I’m waiting for the weather to calm down up North before heading back up to the tropics. Australia had its first cyclone of the year last week. Continue Reading »

I don’t have an anemometer, but the wind last night – as Abyssina puts it – was truly “hair raising”.
Did anyone note what the windspeed peaked at?
Around D dock everything looks ok, and I hope all is well in other parts of Shilshole, too.
Anyway, I’m glad I’m not outside Grays Harbor right now.

This time for real…
Commission meetings held at 1:00 p.m. the second Tuesday of every month are convened at:
Pier 69, Alaskan Way between Clay and Vine streets
and
Commission meetings held at 1:00 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of every month are convened at:
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in the Airport Office Building, International Auditorium, Mezzanine Level South, Main Terminal
So, if my calendar serves me right, the next meeting should be on February 14th. What better way to spend Valentine’s day? I’ll be there, wearing a Live Slow, Sail Fast hat, for those of you who don’t know me.
