Car prowler strikes again
I made the mistake of leaving something visible in my car. It cost me $250 to fix the broken window so that some jerk could take the $20 yard sale item I bought earlier in the week.
Don’t leave visible items inside your car regardless of the value. The drug addicts think they can sell anything for the next fix.Â
This happened early Sunday at the head of G dock and was discovered by SBM security staff and reported to POS PD.Â

Wow – that sucks. I’ve seen a fair bit of broken glass around K dock recently as well (figured it was drunk kids from Golden Gardens). There was a green Xterra up there this morning with a card board window. I just got a new car but, before that, like most live-aboards, I kept a ton of stuff in my old ‘76 BMW – which I couldn’t even lock – never had a problem.
Maybe the police could, I don’t know, stopping doing cross walk sting operations and, you know, stop crime.
It would be great if this site could evolve (or is it just about attracting more users) so that news like this and reporting of things like this to the Marina\City could be tracked and coordinated.
