Dock cart neighborliness

Published by at 1:19 pm under Shilshole Marina

In this dark, wet, chilly season I find myself clinging to any small comfort I can find. One thing that has brightened my mood lately is finding a dry dock cart on a rainy night to put my stuff in. I thank my lucky stars and send many thanks and good vibes to the lovely considerate neighbor who’s taken the trouble to tip the cart over so that the inside has a chance to dry before its next run (mine) down the dock. Thank you neighbor, I now tip my cart for you too.

Gratitude for a dry dock cart, yes! It is one of the joys of the rainy weather we have been having. Thank you for pointing out our neighbors kindnesses.

Actually a big THANK YOU goes to Karen, our marina dock maintenance person who I’ve seen turning over the carts, and who does an excellent job picking up after us, ensuring we have a safe and clean dock and finger piers. Be sure to tell her “thanks” when you see her….
