Memorial Day weekend is the Swiftsure International Yacht Race in Victoria. This is a long-time northwest favorite with a great history! It can be a “driftsure” or blow like stink yet everyone wants to go back the next year. There are many boats from Shilshole that participate so be sure to wish them luck as you see them get ready to leave and welcome them back on Monday. It can be a grueling race that tests the skill, nerves and patience of even the best.
