Shilshole Bay Marina Survey

This is the email sent to all tenants today, in case you didn’t see it.  Please complete the short survey and let them know any issues. You can also share feedback of the new restrooms/laundry at Shilshole-Outreach@portseattle.org

We Want to Hear from You

It goes without saying that 2020 was an exceptional year for the Port of Seattle and for you. Our team at Shilshole Bay Marina has been challenged in so many ways including office closure, sanitation requirements, and remote work.

Our highest priority has been to serve you by continuing operations, providing excellent customer service, and finishing construction of the new facilities and parking lot improvements.

We want to hear your feedback on how we’ve served your needs since March 2020. Please take this three-minute survey and tell us what you think.

Dry Storage Lot Expanding

The Port is expanding the dry storage lot on the north end of the marina out to the street, replacing the parking area that is currently striped there.  The new entrance will face south with an RF Fob opener.  No other details available at this time.

Happy New Year-Finally!

This past year has brought many challenges for all of us.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who know someone that has lost the battle with this terrible disease.  For the small businesses that have continued to struggle, may you persevere with the hope that the new year brings you a better tomorrow.

No matter the challenges to come, we are what we make it!  Be a better person: be patient, smile more, help those in need, and support your neighbors.

“It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.” —William Shakespeare

Your Shilshole Liveaboard Assoc.
wishes you and your family good health,
prosperity, and peace in 2021!

2021 Parking Permits

All marina tenants have, by now, received their parking permits for the new year, as they were mailed out by the marina office 2 weeks ago.  These must be displayed on the lower drivers side of the windshield.  The Port will give you notice and then tow any vehicle out of compliance.

Also, make sure your Washington State car tabs are up to date and on your vehicle-especially if you are going to be away on your boat! The Port is  towing cars with expired tabs. Review the parking policy here:  ParkingPolicySBM2018

WA State Parks Boating Guide Survey

Please see the notice and survey below from the Washington State Parks….

Ahoy, boaters!

Can you spare a few moments?

Did you know that Washington State Parks manages 19 marine state parks and numerous parks with boating access, such as freshwater lakes and marine shorelines?

We’re looking to publish a comprehensive Boating Guide to give you more information about these parks, such as what types of moorage are available, what kinds of amenities can be found, how much it costs for overnight moorage and more.

But before we proceed, we’d like to know if there’s a genuine interest from boaters like you.

Please fill out our survey and let us know if you’d be interested in a Washington State Parks Boating Guide.

The survey takes just 5 minutes. By filling it out, you are eligible to win a free life jacket. Deadline to complete the survey is Friday, Jan. 15.

Thank you!
