Weekly SBM crime stats.

These are the “Significant Event” stats for Shilshole Bay Marina covering 3/11 1730 hours to 3/18 1730 hours as reported by Officer Hilgers of the POSPD. Please tune into the vMan net  on vhf ch.71 at 8pm Mondays for further information from the POSPD 

1)Suspicious vehicle reported on 3/13 at 2027 hours.  Reported there was a suspicious blue BMW in the parking lot.  Vehicle was not located.

 2) Attempted theft/borrowing reported on 3/12 at 0836 hours.  An individual in an RV had taken a dock cart for their personal use.  The subject complied with the request to return the cart.  The subject was also warned about using water/electricity from SBM.

3) Suspicious subject reported on 3/13 at 2107 hours.  An individual was contacted by the M Building and departed the property.

4) Suspicious subject reported on 3/15 at 1325 hours.  A subject was rolling around in a grassy area and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.  An area check was negative for the subject.

5) Lewd conduct reported on 3/17 at 1546 hours.  A subject had urinated on the recycling bins and departed southbound.  The subject was not located.

6) Boat trespass reported on 3/18 at 0739 hours.  A boat was moored illegally.  Harbor master did not recognize the boat and rules and regulations were explained to the owner who moved the boat.

7) Medical call reported on 3/17 at 2151 hours.  An individual required medical assistance.  Seattle Fire responded and after being treated medically departed the area.

Shilshole Crime Stats 1/11/24- 3/04/24 **Edited and updated**

These are the  “Significant Event” stats for Shilshole Bay Marina as reported by Officer Moss of the POSPD covering 01/09/24 17:30 hours to 2/29/2024 17:30 hours.

1.“Suspicious Activity” reported on 1/11/24 at 20:32 hours.  Transient subjects parked their vehicle in the “fire lane” north of the marina office.  Officers responded and contacted subjects.  Subjects and vehicle directed off marina property.
 
2.“Suspicious Activity” reported on 1/23/24 at 03:43 hours.  Marina security noticed a transient subject walking the parking lot.  Transient subject was associated with a vehicle parked north of the marina office.  Officers responded and contacted the subject.  Subject was living in his parked vehicle with his elderly mother.  Subject and vehicle information documented.  Contact cleared without incident.
 
3.“Suspicious Activity” reported on 1/28/24 at 19:53 hours.  Report of subjects possibly “striping” a vehicle within the marina lot.  Officers responded, discovering the subjects/vehicle no longer on scene.  A check of the entire marina parking area conducted.  No signs of theft or vehicle prowl discovered.
 
4.‘Reckless Driving” incident reported on 1/29/24 on 10:58 hours.

5.“Trespass Incident” reported on 2/1/24 at 17:50 hours.  Sailboat docked on marina, owner refusing to pay moorage or leave.  Vessel and subject left the marina prior to police arrival.
 
6.“Suspicious Activity” reported on 2/1/24 at 23:39 hours.  Subjects no longer on scene upon police response.
 
7.“Vandalism” reported on 2/6/24 at 15:23 hours.  Batteries stolen from marina security trailer.  Wires to the trailer also cut.  No suspect information.
 

8.“Theft ” incident reported on 2/12/24 on 11:39 hours.  Fuel siphoned from resident’s parked vehicle.
 
9. “Vehicle Theft” reported on 2/13/24 at 08:15 hours.  Marina resident’s parked vehicle stolen the night prior. No suspect information.


10.“Theft Incident” reported on 3/2/2024 at 12:46 hours.  Fuel siphoned from a marina resident’s parked vehicle (most likely the night prior).  Vehicle was parked adjacent to the M3 building. No suspect information at this time.

11. “Vehicle Recovery” incident occurred 3/3/2024 at 11:01 hours.  During a patrol of the marina property, officers discovered a stolen camper vehicle parked roadside.  Occupants arrested and the registered owner of the stolen camper notified. Registered owner recovered the stolen camper vehicle.
