Snow shovels

It is unfathomable why the port is no longer making snow shovels available to tenants to clear their finger piers. This is the mindset of the port’s legal Beagels. Ive used a shovel since I was nine years old. Can anyone tell me what’s dangerous about a shovel? This is a continuation of a long trend of reduced service and raised rents. About time we sent the rest of the commissioners packing along with Steinbrueck.

Hope you guys all survived the windy weather this week. Happy to report no significant incidents this week. These are the smallest numbers we’ve seen in months. Lets hope this trend continues.

Crime stats from Port of Seattle Police for Shilshole Marina via Officer Shin on the Monday night VMan Net:

11/09/21-11/15/21
16 Area checks*
1 Vehicle check
17 total Checks
*Area checks are when officers self dispatch to an area to make sure nothing is going on and provide a presence.
Be sure to join in the VMan net on Monday nights at 8pm VHF channel 71. The Port of Seattle Police are once again participating in the net and willing to answer questions. Tenants are encouraged to stay vigilant & report ANY suspicious activity to the Port of Seattle Police.

How does one join the liveaboard association?

Admin note:  as a Port of Seattle authorized liveaboard at Shilshole you are, by default, a member of the Shilshole Liveaboard Assoc.  We have a board comprised of 15 members that works with the Port regarding policy and security issues that affects not just us liveaboards but the tenants in general.  Contact us
