Pressure washing of M, S, T, and W docks are to resume Tuesday September 6th. Please refer to the schedule below for when you dock will be cleaned.

Boating to Canada
As most know, you need to have your documents in order to travel somewhat stress free. If you are going to Canada next summer, start the process now. If you have a Nexus, don’t let it expire and start your renewal 6 months early, as there are still delays with processing. Read more on the Canada Border Services site.

Jibe Cafe Open Mic night

Local Crabbing Season Opens July 3rd
Seattle/Bremerton Area 10 Scheduled to open July 3 through Sept. 5, Sundays and Mondays only. Tuesdays through Saturdays will be closed. A license is required and can be bought at Fred Meyer. Know the rules…Dept of Fish and Wildlife watch people and their catches and the fines can be hefty.

Race to Alaska on now…

It’s like the Iditarod, on a boat, with a chance of drowning, being run down by a freighter, or eaten by a grizzly bear. There are squalls, killer whales, tidal currents that run upwards of 20 miles an hour, and some of the most beautiful scenery on earth. Concerts at the Locks
The free outdoor concerts resume this summer on the lawn at the Ballard Locks. Bring your chair/blanket/picnic and enjoy local musicians on the weekend afternoons.
